The Eagles stretched their winning streak to six with a pair of road victories, defeating Sacramento State 102–94 and Portland State
67–55. Eastern now returns home for its final regular-season homestand, hosting Northern Colorado on Thursday, Feb. 26 at 6 p.m. and Northern Arizona on Saturday, Feb. 28 at 2 p.m.
Eastern holds a 21–18 all-time edge over the Bears and a 45–42 advantage over the Lumberjacks but dropped both matchups earlier this season on the road. In the Big Sky, Isaiah Moses continues to lead in free-throw percentage (93%), ranking fifth in scoring and seventh in assists, and sits atop the NCAA in free-throw accuracy. Kiree Huie is second in the conference in both blocked shots and field-goal percentage, while Alton Hamilton IV ranks sixth in offensive rebounds.
Eastern capped its road swing with contrasting but equally effective performances. The Eagles overwhelmed Sacramento State behind a 57–39 halftime lead and 56 percent shooting, including 14 made threes. Moses powered the offense with 26 points, nine assists, and seven rebounds, Tyler Powell's early threes fueled a 25–4 opening burst, and Cole Scherer added a career-high scoring effort as Eastern maintained control throughout.
Two days later, the Eagles relied on defense and poise to pull away at Portland State, turning a one-point halftime edge into a 12-point win by limiting the Vikings to 25 second-half points. Moses scored 22 with perfect free-throw shooting, Huie added 14 points and seven boards, and Eastern's interior defense produced seven blocks. Together, the Eagles paired explosive offense in Sacramento with lockdown defense in Portland to secure consecutive road wins and solidify their Big Sky positioning entering the final week.

The Eagles now turn their focus to the Big Sky Indoor Track and Field Championships, set for Thursday, Feb. 26 through Saturday, Feb. 28. Koumedzina also placed second in the 60m, while Jordyn Grady moved onto the all-time list in the 200m and finished runner-up in the 60m hurdles.
